Two lovers, getting clean off drugs, starting their life anew, and all the obstacles they encounter along the way. This intimate portrait was filmed over the course of two years, documenting everything; raw and uncensored.

Butterfly is a portrait of Lisa and Leo, two teenagers on the brink of adulthood. They live in a student apartment and escape the mundane through drugs and partying. When Lisa unexpectedly becomes pregnant, they face the difficult decision of an abortion. Their move to a small studio on the other side of the city is an attempt to quit drugs, but ultimately their relationship collapses under the pressure of daily life.
