Name/Artist Nick: Tala Nikitina Personal URL (optional): Country: Russia Work title/duration: Svino Path/ 31 min Year/country when/where it was made: 2020/ Kuzyaevo, Russia Short description (1 sentence): Metaphysical research of fields and recordings Explication (no more than 600 words): This is a movie about the path. The path from the beginning to another beginning through thousand deaths, the path which doesn't mean much lasting for ages. The highest drama of the movie is definitely contained in the scene with a falling bucket, where all the hope and all the despair can be felt. It isn’t a story, it’s the path where you can feel the dead grass, cold dirt and stones under your feet. Millions and millions follow their own ways, stumbling, coming across, crawling. Nobody has a reason for compassion. Just keep going and hoping to disappear without a trace. It should be a time of reflection for nations as well. The opposite of knowledge, in other words, isn't always ignorance. You have a kind of sick desperation in your laugh. Water walking won't work on lava or slime. This bloom decreases water transparency, leading to the loss of submerged plants. This sizing scale shall not apply to trusses of tomatoes.
